Lanie Iannucci

UI/UX Designer

About Me

I am an advocate for user centered design, and applying psychological principles to designs. I have exceptional acuity for discriminating fine details during the evaluation, design, and testing of products. Because technology is steadily evolving, I strive to remain current with design trends and published HCI research. I am data driven, and use data from prior researchers as well as my own research and studies to make informed design decisions.

I enjoy being able to discover and solve complex and abstract problems. I believe that innovations should make their users lives easier and more enjoyable, no matter how mundane the task.

My Process

Research

Understand the design problem and the target users. Discover and learn how others have failed or succeeded in solving a similar problem.

Design

Create a workflow chart, wire-frame the layout and interactions, create an interactive prototype, style the approved wireframes by applying the graphical look and feel.

Validate

User test! Internal usability testing is a great inexpensive way to get some early data, but observing real users interact with the product while performing real tasks is crucial

Iterate

Improve the product by applying usability testing findings. Make the product more robust by gradually adding features and functionality to the MVP.
